Md Abrar Jahin, CSCA™ (Certified Supply Chain Analyst), is pursuing a BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) in Bangladesh by maintaining excellence in his academic career. As a Bangladeshi undergraduate student, he got the rarest opportunity to achieve two international research internships in the same year. As a team leader and the winner of "Smart Roads – Winter Road Maintenance Hackathon 2021", he was offered a three-week Machine Learning research internship at UiT - The Arctic University of Norway, where he performed research on the DIT4BEARs Smart Roads project. He got a full-funded scholarship as a 'Research Intern' (2021) at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (Japan), where he worked on perfectly conserved sequences of humans and other species under Prof. Jonathan Miller's supervision in the Physics and Biology Unit (Miller Unit). In 2023, he again got an offer as a 'Visiting Research Student', where he is working closely with Prof. Miller, Dr. Zifcakova, and Dr. Pnini on the evolutionary dynamics of strongly conserved sequences in vertebrates and insects. His current research interest is inclined toward Big Data and Machine Learning, Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Human-Computer Interaction, Quantum Computing, Comparative Genomics, Artificial Intelligence for Business, Natural Language Processing, Image Processing, and Business Analytics.
