MUHAMMAD MOSTAFA MONOWAR (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in computer science and information technology from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Bangladesh, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from Kyung Hee University,South Korea, in 2011. He worked as a Faculty Member with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Chittagong,Bangladesh. He is currently working as a Professor with the Department of Information Technology, King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. His research interests include wireless networks, mostly ad-hoc, sensor, and mesh networks, including routing protocols, MAC mechanisms, IP and transport layer issues, cross-layer design, and QoS provisioning, security and privacy issues, and natural language processing. He has served as a program committee member for several international conferences/workshops. He served as an Editor for a couple of books published by CRC press and Taylor & Francis Group.
He also served as a guest editor for several journals.
