Md. Mehedi Hasan received the B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), Dhaka, Bangladesh. During his undergraduate studies, he received multiple tuition fee waivers in recognition of outstanding academic excellence. He served as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at BUBT from January to December 2025, supporting undergraduate engineering courses and computer science related courses for business students through laboratory instruction and hands-on academic mentoring.

He is currently a Research Assistant and previously completed a Research Intern position at the Advanced Machine Intelligence Research Lab. His research focuses on machine learning, deep learning, medical applications, and bioinformatics, with an emphasis on explainable artificial intelligence and graph based biomedical data analysis. His research has been presented at IEEE affiliated international conferences.

Mr. Hasan is an active member of IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society. He is a recipient of several prestigious awards, including the IEEE Computer Society Richard E. Merwin Student Scholarship, and has received multiple honors recognizing his academic excellence, volunteer leadership, and sustained contributions to STEM outreach. He has held leadership and organizational roles in IEEE conferences, symposiums, and student activities at national and regional levels
