NAZIBA TASNIM was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is currently pursuing a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is a Research Assistant at the Advanced Machine Intelligence Research Lab, having been a research intern there for a year in 2025. Her research interests include deep learning, explainable artificial intelligence, quantum computing and bioinformatics. From her second year, she has demonstrated high problem solving ability, with her team becoming finalists in one of BRACU’s largest intra-university competitive programming competitions. She has since participated and submitted in several hackathons including JAXA’s KIBO RPC program for NASA’s ISS Astrobee simulation. She has taught students from all over the country in the first quantum computing bootcamp, and she has extensive mentorship experience in certificate courses organized by QWorld, and she has tutored in Thinking Beyond’s AI research program for high school and early undergraduate students. In addition, she has participated with a team in an international research hackathon connected with Unitary Fund, and the team’s project has been awarded an honorable mention from the judges for their quantum error mitigation project.
