Short Biography:
Mohammad Sakib Mahmood is a dedicated and highly motivated professional with a passion for computer science and technology. He holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Missouri State University, U.S.A which he expected to complete in December 2023. Prior to pursuing his master's degree, He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the prestigious American International University-Bangladesh in 2018.
With a strong background in both engineering and computer science, Mohammad Sakib Mahmood has gained valuable knowledge and skills in various areas of technology. He has hands-on experience working with programming languages such as Python, Java, C, C++, and JavaScript, enabling them to develop robust and efficient software solutions. His expertise extends to utilizing popular developer tools and frameworks such as VS Code, PyCharm, Spyder, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, GitHub, ReactJS, NodeJS, Git-bash, and Git-GUI.
During his academic journey, Mohammad Sakib Mahmood has actively engaged in research and practical projects, demonstrating their keen interest in emerging fields such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Computer Vision. He has worked as a Research Associate in the Computer Science Department at Missouri State University, where they focused on creating environments using reinforcement learning algorithms for self-play fighting games. Additionally, they have contributed to the field of Internet of Things (IoT) by conducting analyses based on artificial intelligence (AI) while working as a Research & Teaching Assistant at the Computer Science Department of American International University-Bangladesh.
In terms of professional experience, Mohammad Sakib Mahmood has recently worked as a Machine Learning Data Engineer (Co-Op Intern) at Central Station Marketing Technology in Euless, TX, U.S.A. During this role, they acquired proficiency in utilizing various tools such as PyTorch, Google Cloud AutoML, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn. He demonstrated his ability to work with large datasets, performing data ingestion, cleaning, and preparation for analysis. His statistical expertise allowed him to derive meaningful insights and results, employing information visualization techniques.
Aside from technical abilities, Mohammad Sakib Mahmood possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills. He has been involved in assisting trainers, providing individual attention, and supporting learning activities in the classroom and lab environments. He has also contributed to the development of reports, presentations, and data analysis.
